Resin is a bold and beautiful medium that allows us to create long-lasting products for your home and space. Like any piece of precious art, proper care is essential to maintain its beauty and longevity. Please follow the care instructions below to ensure you enjoy your artwork for many years to come!

Resin & Wood, Resin Art, and Resin Homewares Care Instructions

  • Regularly oil the wood with mineral oil to condition and extend the life of your wood product. (Please do not use olive or other cooking oils.)
  • You can also apply a small amount of mineral oil to resin surfaces that appear dull or frosted to restore their shine.
  • Allow your wood and resin pieces to dry naturally.
  • Avoid cutting directly on resin art or casting resin surfaces.
  • Prevent scratches by handling resin pieces with care.
  • Resin is safe for cold food only.
  • Do not place resin and wood pieces in the dishwasher.
  • Avoid exposing your pieces to extreme heat above 60°C (140°F). Do not use microwaves, ovens, or other heat sources.
  • Although resin is strong and durable, treat it like ceramic—it can break if dropped or knocked against hard surfaces.
  • Keep resin items out of direct sunlight to minimize discoloration. While our resin is UV stable and resistant, prolonged sun exposure can still cause yellowing or color changes.
  • Clean with warm water and mild detergent or simply wipe down with a damp cloth.
  • Please note that resin can yellow over time despite the UV stabilizers in our high-quality resin. Limiting UV light and heat exposure will help slow this process, especially on light-colored pieces.

Hand-Painted Pot Planter and Vase Care

  • These planters are intended for indoor use only.
  • Keep them out of direct sunlight.
  • The exterior may get slightly wet from watering; simply wipe with a soft cloth.
  • Avoid using cleaning products containing alcohol near the pots, as they may damage the artwork.
  • Each pot planter is hand-painted, making it a unique and beautiful functional art piece for your space.
