Markets - Selling my creations

This year I was all about how do I increase my exposure and share my creations with more people in addition to my fabulous circle of friends and family.

So, I ventured out and researched the most suitable markets to use as a platform to sell my creations.

I was very nervous at start, wondering if anyone would buy them, but as my first day came to a close I was relieved and excited - with not only the positive feedback, but the fact that I actually sold quite a few items.

So, now the journey continues, I have done a couple of markets and I really enjoy the interaction and chatting to people about how I create and why I do this.

It is a joy to see the positive feedback and people are interested in how they have been created.

This makes believe that I can continue to keep going with what I love and share it with many ! :)

Markets have become such a rewarding part of my creative journey. Beyond my online store and the wonderful support from friends and family, I wanted to reach people who might discover my work in person and connect with the stories behind each piece.

The decision to take my creations to markets was both exciting and terrifying. I spent weeks researching which events would be the best fit for my style and audience. Would strangers actually be interested? Would anyone buy? Those questions kept me up at night, but I knew I had to try.

Walking into my first market, I was a bundle of nerves. But as the day unfolded, something magical happened. People stopped by my stall, asked questions, and genuinely engaged with my work. By the end of the day, I'd made sales and received feedback that reminded me why I create in the first place. That relief mixed with pure joy is something I'll never forget.

Since then, I've done several markets, and each one has reinforced how much I love this part of the process. It's not just about selling—it's about the conversations. People want to know how I make things, what inspires me, and the passion behind each creation. Those face-to-face moments are invaluable. They remind me that my work resonates with people, and that's incredibly motivating.

Seeing the genuine interest and positive feedback from customers has given me the confidence to keep pushing forward. Markets have become a platform where I can share not just my creations, but my story. And that's something no online listing can fully capture. I'm grateful for every person who stops by, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me next.
